AWMAC Ontario Chapter held this year’s apprenticeship contest on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Humber College. The winners are as follows:

Special recognition goes out to Humber College for offering to host this year’s event and to all those involved in organizing and assisting with the arrangements.
This year, 4 candidates participated in the AWMAC Ontario Chapter Apprenticeship Contest held at Conestoga College on March 14, 2009. They were Glenn Frazer, Paul Spiteri, Andrew Dubeckyi and Aaron Lott. The materials were donated by Upper Canada Forest Products, Wilsonart Canada and Hettich Canada. This year's judges were Tony Boyce, Frank Sansalone, Kevin Lott and Martin Grinwis. First place and $500, sponsored by Hettich Canada, went to Glenn Frazer, a 2nd year student at Conestoga College. Second place and $250, sponsored by Blum Canada, went to Paul Spiteri, an apprentice with DCL Woodworking. Third place and $100, sponsored by Precision Veneer Products, went to Andrew Dubeckyi, an apprentice with Talon Millwork. Fourth place and $50, sponsored by AWMAC Ontario Chapter, went to Aaron Lott, a first year student at Humber College. Special thanks are extended to Conestoga College for hosting the event and all those involved in organizing, sponsoring and assisting with arrangements for this year's event.
